NTCH GRCH PR SMITHS WEST KY ZEKE got his third win towards grand tonight doing it in his style getting about a mile deep splitting away from the other dogs working a cold track finishing it treed , with the MEAT! Now just two to go to Dual Grand.

Dad did Ron,Ruby done her job got split and deep herself worked a cold track also, tapped a few trees then came treed it was a huge tree with a nest big enuff for a eagle, no doubt she had it but that's how it goes sometimes.Our hunt was spent on dogs split about a mile apart but that's what they are supposed to do I think and a red was in the winners circle.Coons are moving right at dark right now so if you are not in the woods then it's cold tracks the dogs have to work. But that's fine when you have big bawl mouth track dogs thats when they sound great working a trail!

Hey Steve, thanks for bringing your 2 females over. When Doug took a coon and hung in a tree for them to see what they would do.....all we could say was "WOW" they are focused, tree minded, and wanted that coon. You have a pair of nice gyps. We know you and your dad are going to have a lot of fun with them. I can't wait to see what they are going to do when you put them in the hunts this year.
Keep up the good work, you are going to do good with those 2. All I can say you are one Lucky Guy to get (2) females of that caliber. Let us know when you get the papers back on the other female. Happy Hunting.

Thanks alot Doug and Sue, I had alot of fun visiting with yall yesterday .I'm sure glad to see Doug up and around I know it's been hard for him.These two gyps have been alot of fun this last month if only I would of found them the first of season, but I don't know as much as they have improved already I can't wait to see this last month and a half of season what they can do.They sure make you want to keep your boots on hopefully Doug and me can hunt together before season go's out.

Grandpa Bill Smith and Granddaughter Ellie Smith took GRCH NTCH Smith's West Ky Zeke out last night. Zeke as usual went deep and had the coon. Ellie Smith shot this one out for Zeke. Way to go Ellie!!!!
