Need some info on witchdoctor

Heard some good things out of witchdoctor but I don't know a whole lot about the dog or his pups. I would really like to know more about him from the breeders stand point like what his pups are doing, what traits he's reproducing well, and what crosses have been most successful. Any info on the dog would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bryce

A buddy of mine use to hunt dogs for the owners of witchdoctor, I have walked behind a few of them for many a nite. I hunt blackdogs so I don't have any stock in walker dogs. The biggest thing I would note is they have the meat when they tree. I can't think of many slicks I ever looked at. The 2nd thing is put on your walking boots they get deep and lonely fast. Juice was my and still is my fav. witchdoctor dog. He would get deep but not as bad as some of the others ( like the Ditch dog). They seem to have an avg. course houndy mouth which was a problem here in OH, where it's flat you couldn't hear them as deep as they get. Females seemed to have a better mouth, and don't get as deep. If I was going to hunt a walker dog I would get me a Witchdoctor dog I have to see animals in those trees.

River Birch Run, that's really the type dog im looking for. I like a big mouth dog but they cant all be perfect. if a dog will get deep with the meat I guess I cant complain. Im going to try to give the witch doctor folks a call today sometime and see what they have bred to with pups on the ground or what they are planning to breed to
