Time?

What time do you guys go hunting? I've been going not long after dark, doesn't seem like I'm not getting any hot tracks, just cold ones to dens? Am I not waiting late enough? Its not pressure cause I went to some places that nobody has been in, but it was close to 50 deg. Last night. I'm new to coon hunting.

Depends on alot of factors. If its real cold the coon move better on the water, its warmer you get better tracks. If its a steady temp. you hit woods with a good food scorce,ie acorns, beechnuts, or corn. Acorns are the best because there aren't as many dens in the Oak trees, you see more coon. Hunting off beech trees you may make 3 or 4 dens before you see a coon. You may have other people hitting your woods too. Or you hunt the woods from the same direction all the time just change it up if you can. Sometimes the yotes change the time coon run too if they run it rite before dark it can keep the coon up longer, change up hunting times.
