Great time of year ----

this is the time of year I really love to see all that POWER go that we've heard about all summer. All those dogs with those great noses that go "until treed." (this covers ALL breeds, not just the Redbone) I guess I have just two questions---1) Now that the trees are bare and as you walk along the fence lines or creek banks, you once and awhile can see a set of eyes looking at you as you pass, why is Old Spot or Blue 1 mile deep?? and 2) If the coon are a mile or 2 from where you cut lose, why the heck didn't you cast THERE??

This is just my opinion, but when you stopped the truck and got out, and while you where putting the GPS and shock collars on and the dogs started barking and you started hollering to be quiet!! Some of those dumb coon that where only 50 yards away took off running for their life's because they knew that those Grand Nites are the best in town and as they got that 1 or 2 miles away they were really starting to sweat and smell and that's when the dogs kicked it in to high gear and bang!!! COME AND GET THEM is heard. And those smart coon, well they just climbed the first tree because they also know that when you cut those dogs lose, THEY BETTER BE KICKING DIRT in your face and as Old Spot and Blue fly bye, it's really a smile under those sets of eyes you are pasting.

Have a Great Day and may your hound be one that can take the "smile" off those sets of eyes??
