The XL is nice!!! Super bright on high and low is a nice walking light. Can't go wrong with one of these!

K-Light

I've got the convertible xl. Bought it at B&T Days this year. I like it a lot, and would buy another. When my frosted lins broke they sent me a new one right away no questions asked.

I'm with you.
I've had nothing but problems with the G2 LED head.
Heard good things about it.
But turns out they don't last

I have a G2 and have worn out two battery packs, but have yet to have an issue with the head.

I just received an XL convertible and tried it out last night. It's plenty bright, but I haven't hunted with it enough to form any other opinions. I may move the battery to my belt, as that extra weight on the head, does take some getting used to.

As far as warranty work is concerned... just go to Autumn Oaks and tell me what light manufacturer is not working on their lights?!? The question is really what level of service did you receive when you do need service.

Not just the service....but the attitude of the person. I can say without hesitation every contact with a representative of Kelly's has been above and beyond the expectation. Other manufactures seem to thrive on accusations and making everything the consumers fault. NEVER with Kelly....

I agree the people with kelly are Really good people.
But to keep repairing the head over and over is costly.

I have had 3 Kelly lights I still have the G-2 I have had no problems with any of the 3 . My only complaint was I thought the g2 head was a little to heavy but thats on me not a kick on the light. I was used to carrying the sunburst head and it was alot lighter than the g2 . All 3 lights have preformed flawlessly for me and you can't ask for a better man to deal with. IMO

I have dealt with Mike Kelley, Redgy Ramsey and Bruce Conkey. Have had great service from all of them. They all sell quality products.

Not sure about how many hours it will last.I've shined as many as 10 singles in one night and it never even got dim.I just use it to shoot with mainly and shine a little.

Cordless spotlight is my favorite although we own three other K lights , convertible is my personal light but seems it gets borrowed an awful lot if I am at work, bright light, easy to wear . Customer service has been spot on with these folks , I used the handheld several times without charging last week , trailing wounded deer , feeding after dark, etc ,didnt put a timer on it but feel like i prob had at least two hours burn time and could not tell a difference in the light
