The little female is AWESOME....action packed little thing.. wired 440+ and is looking to catch some game. She winded a coon from 600 yards across a corn stubble field and drifted the track in the woods, and is 100% TREEEEEEEEEEE dog. I'm telling you I was VERY impressed by her. Reminded me of what we used to call coon dogs....
Thanks so much for the info! I didn't really know much about what type of pups thunder throws. but I know what type of pedigree he has! my hope is to bring the old blood back into the walker dogs that we have today! and don't get me wrong, I have a female that's out of the new bloodlines that are being offered today and I like her! but I know of people who are starting to see the walker dogs that are being hunted and promoted to not be as good or accurate, they tend to slick tree and babble. and not all of them are like that. but with todays bloodlines and dogs shouldn't there be dogs produced that are as good as the dogs of years gone? and my dad had the lone pine, flag and clover bred dogs about 20 years ago. and this pup on his sires side goes back the dogs that my dad had! and they were flat out coon dogs! so I hope by this spring I will have this pup started into training and by next fall have him going! I think his pedigree has a lot to offer into the walkers that are being bred today.
