I am wanting to research as much as possible to makeing this cross in the future... i am new to english and know a little about there bloodlines but im sure there are some english men on here that can help me out the female (Emma) is a coon dog opens on track as needed but a little on the quieter side in my opinion she is accurate and trees alot of layups.. good tree dog and mouth!
The male(Abe) is still a pup will be starting him first of the year but as of now he is looking like hes gonna be a natural coon dog at just 4 months old.... of coarse if this male makes what im expecting we will make this cross in the future... thanks for all the input it is appriciated God bless

Chris,

You will be further a head planning crosses on traits that please you rather than using a pedigree. Don't get me wrong pedigrees have their value. They just aren't a good enough selection tool on their own.

i agree larry and thanks and i am .... i like the female she does nice work... i was figuring some people on here maybe have made some similiar crosses and i am just curious to any info i can gather.... going by the pedigrees i am super excited but i am gonna see about the male dog but he is a sure natural if i have seen one he trees 300 yard coon drags in thick timber with ease....and has the last month

chris you should post this over on the english board you might get more responses. I like the looks of the ped. these pups would have they will have alot of rocky blood in them which they should be tree dogs. but good luck and i hope your little male turns out for you.

You don't want me to comment on this . LOL I have hunted with Emma and she is a nice hound. Just looked at what she is lacking and what she is best at . Then when your male is ready do the same for him. Hopefully he will have what she is lacking and and vice verse. Then maybe just maybe you will get some well balanced pups. Well that's my two cents worth. Also I am with Nathan on this none of these English boys call me either but neither does the walker boys . LOL Happy Hunting Brother.
