Va Cartel Fellowship Hunt

OCTOBER 25 and 26
We are going to host the fellowship hunt once again this year. Many people have asked about a date. The problem was getting a date that worked for all of our guys here in Va. Some will get to attend, others will be out of town. Bottom line is we will hunt on Friday and Saturday night.

Where: Camp Tuk A Way, 2262 Craig Creek Road
Blacksburg, VA 24060
You can google Camp Tuk A Way for directions.

When: October 25-26

Hunting: tough, mountains, creek bottoms, branches, hollers

Accommodation: cabins, bunk beds, shower house, mess hall

What to bring: sleeping bag, coon dog, no need for rubber boots

Food: bring food/snacks to share, will finalize this latter

Cost: $30 donation that will go to the camp.

For more information you can ask on this forum or pm.

question...

I know a lady that goes by the name of 'moonlight Anna' that wants to know if her blue dog is welcome...? And I was wondering if there would be a training session with pups, like there was at the cabin hunt..?

Only 3 more weeks, I hope that I can get my Jeep fixed before then. I might have to make a run up to Wisconsin to get my dogs in shape. How many pups can I bring for the "training" session. Ken, Pastor Mike laid a couple of drags with a caged coon last year and we turned 6 or 8 pups loose. Zeke was my pup last year. What a difference a year can make. Crazy James called me last night to tell me how good Zeke was doing. Zeke and his very nice 4 yr old Gr Nt English dog were running a coon in a cornfield. Zeke treed about 30-40 seconds in front of his English dog as we were talking on the phone.

All are welcome and invited. As long as someone is with a redbone person. The goal of the hunt is to get as many red dogs toghther so folks can see them go. Not sure about the training as Pastor Mike will not be there. He is the training master. I am sure we can muster something up though.
