Also how often do I need to charge the Light I have used it for 2 nights on all night hunts should I run it dead before charging it or what?

The new Sunfire from Sunspot Lights.

It uses an aluminum head, with excellent heat sinking.
It has a 4 position click switch
The Low is a usable low good for walking.
Burn Times are:
1st click 140 hours
2nd click 80 hours
3rd click 35 hours
4th click is 3.5 hours and is a blinding 50,000 lux
That’s right 50,000 lux I don’t know of any other coon hunting light on the market with that high of a Lux reading. That is not a spot light.
The spot is about the same size of a traditional 5100 head.
It comes with the standard Sunspot warranty of 2 full years and life time labor.
It weighs 25 oz and is as balanced as you can find. It weighs the same on the front as it does the back.
Bump Cap or Soft Cap your choice
Also available in long cord with belt loop
Price is $280 + $15 shipping
* 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

Best light on the market, I hunt 3 or 4 nights without a charge, it depends how much time you spend with it on high cause thats what sucks the juice.

I just bought the light last week and used it for the first time this weekend. I just used it on high at the tree maybe 1.5 hours at 4 trees. I have used it on the lowest setting for about 20 hours. Also on the charger I assume that when you plug it up the light is red and when charged it turns green correct? This smokes every light I have put it up against. I have a 355 lumen spot light and the Sunfire is way brighter than it. Plain and simple if you can't find the coon with this light it AINT there.

Thanks for the complements.

All batteries regardless of the type only have a certain amount of charge cycles. The less you charge it the more years you will get out of your batteries. For the Sunfire I hunt on mine5-6 nights before I ever think of charging it. I have hunted on it 15 nights. When fully charged your light on the charger will turn green. It will not hurt the battery to leave it on but it is also not doing it any good. Lithium batteries do not trickle charge. Once it is full you have to run them for a bit before they will take a charge again. Lithium batteries do not use smart chargers, the battery circuit cuts the charge when it is full. It also cuts the power when it gets below a certain voltage. That and a constant current driver is why LED light with lithium batteries do not dim. I know it was more than you asked for but I hope this helped.

Man I love this light if you want bright this thing has it and a whole lot more. I have about 4 or 5 people that's going to buy one just from looking at mine. ITS BRIGHT!!!!!

Charles,

The long cord with belt loop does not come with a walking light on the battery pack. The first click on the switch is a good walking light gives you 140 hours of burn time. Any questions feel free to call us anytime at your convenience.

Both lights are made by Michael Rosamond of Sunspot Lights. The SUNFIRE and the SUNSPOT are two different lights. The SUNSPOT is the original light and the SUNFIRE is the new light.
