Both went back to the greatest Main Street Roy !! Just not direct < Ruby was off Jack and John was direct off Roy

I remember reading about Main Street Roy years ago. Was the Jack dog off Roy? Either way it's pretty impressive that the top two go back to him. For some reason it seems like I remember hearing the Roy dog was killed on the road or something at a young age but it may have been one of his pups and not him I just can't be sure.

Roy was hit by a car in Semen OH it has been quite a few years back not sure how old he was when he was killed he was a good one that's for sure

John is off Roy semen.

Ruby is off of Jack. Jack is out of Roy and female off Nichols Tree Spike making Jack a half brother/half sister cross.

Roy was killed just a few days short of his 4th birthday. Hard to say what he could have accomplished both in the hunts and the stud pen if he would have lived longer. If you check out the Top Reproducers List in the September Coonhound Bloodlines you will see that Roy has had 419 pups (some of them are AI since he passed). 66 of them have made NITECH or GRNITECH for a 15.75%.

Also, two of Roy's sons (Jack and Max) are on the Current Reproducers list.

I know a guy that has a direct son out of Roy he is a pretty nice hound, it's a shame he hasn't been off the chain in at least 2 years. Pisses me off but he's not my hound!
