my son Brendon fry, sufferes from mental illness, we have been trying to get a diagnosice for years, he has been in and out of counseling facitlies for years.

last week he tried taking his own life twice, and was removed from the program. PAULDING COUNTY OHIO JUV. court had a hearing this morning without notifieing shannon or I. and sentences him up to age 25 in DYS (juviniel prison). They have no regared for "DO PROCESS" and think they can do what they want .. I ask you haow would you like to be a mentaly ill 14 year old with out a partent there and be sentence, up to age 25?? what if this was your child.. ? Brendon has been more than a hand full, but he is not a monster, he is sick.. we have a apptment at cleveland clinic for test on monday, and was told he would not be able to go..

Sorry to hear what you are going through. This unfortunately happens more and more with privatization of Juvenile Detention Centers. The "for profit prison industry" will bribe the daylights out of judges to get the judges to give them more business. Just across the border from you in PA is where the "kids for cash" scandal took place. Judges got 2.6$million for bypassing due process and handing out heavy sentences to minor offenders. Fight this with all you got!

The "kids for cash" scandal unfolded in 2008 over judicial kickbacks at the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Two judges, President Judge Mark Ciavarella and Senior Judge Michael Conahan, were accused of accepting money from Robert Mericle, builder of two private, for-profit juvenile facilities, in return for contracting with the facilities and imposing harsh sentences on juveniles brought before their courts to increase the number of inmates in the detention centers.[1][2]
For example, Ciavarella sentenced children to extended stays in juvenile detention for offenses as minimal as mocking a principal on Myspace, trespassing in a vacant building, and shoplifting DVDs from Wal-mart.[3] Ciavarella and Conahan pled guilty on February 13, 2009, pursuant to a plea agreement, to federal charges of honest services fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States (failing to report income to the Internal Revenue Service, known as tax evasion) in connection with receiving $2.6 million in payments from managers at PA Child Care in Pittston Township and its sister company Western PA Child Care in Butler County.

im really sorry to hear what they are doing to your son and tearing your family apart sense he is a juneval by law they shouldn't be able to do anything with him without your consent this countrys law officials are getting outa hand if you have the recources i would be getting a lawyer this young man needs help not put in a juvnile prison i pray to god that you find a way to get him the help he needs
