Not sure here. I feed all my dogs diamond got 4 hounds and my wifes house dog and no runs here. Started 3 as pups just weened on the diamond puppy food. I make sure and get any kind that says no wheat, soy or corn. They make cheaper stuff that does not say this. Thats my only thoughts

They will tell you your over feeding and that you need to work into the change of feed slow but that's diamond feed for you.

OK

Ok let me say this A GSP life span is 10 -12 yrs our boy would have been 14 in November and his life style was going down hill FAST and all our inside dogs have food available to them 24hrs a day except the pups of course they are in crates while we are at work and in bed I said that he lost weight because he wouldn't eat but not because we wasn't feeding him and in the last month he lost prob close to 20lbs and had that nasty green runny stool

Im feeding the diamond natural meat and rice. Dern good stuff. Feed it to a 3 tr old and a 11 yr old. 3 yr old does do a little better on it than the old dog but Im not wanting her mud fat. I feed her twice as much as the 3 yr old. Young gets 1 red solo cup a day. 11 yr old gets 2. Dogs differ. Both have firm stool. Real firm.

Throw the Diamond High Performance away its junk and is the cause of the runny stool. The Naturals is good stuff by itself and doesn't need help.

Diamonds foods are nasty. With the standard line the dogs all smell like the food after a few weeks. Terrible odor.

The best value food is SportMix premium, same price as Diamond but twice as good.

Sport mix?Your way off on that statement.I fed it for awhile and Diamond Naturals is way better. My dogs look awesome on it and always have solid stools. Its hard to beat Naturals unless you want to spend 40 bucks a bag.

Sportmix is a better food than the regular Diamond foods. That is what I was saying.

Never used Diamond Naturals. I buy flats of Dr. Tim's and we break it up. Never been happier and don't plan on changing.

Been feedin it for 20-25 yrs . Same bag, puppies, housedawgs, females with pups,Bulldogs. 20 or so at the present. ~ Everything~

I have never seen what your speakin of,never ever. There is sumthin else goin on with your dawg other than the dawgfood. Wormy? bad water would be a possibility. Pan's clean? Pens clean & dry? If it's as consistant as you say there is deffinately sumthin goin on but I doubt its the feed unless your lucky nuff'ta have one of them special diet models. Find a good nuff vet & you'll find out.

You can pik up the turds with your hands & use'um as missiles. Be lucky'ta even smell it on your hand unless your one that believes in the power grippin. In that case, well you'd just be weird.

Good Luck!

other thing is could be a bad lot and got some bad stuff in that bag. have to look at where it came from too.

also you are in OH, were any of the dogs showing any of the signs that have been reported with the circo virus? I know green stool was not one of them but we dont know if it started green then turned to blood in the sick dogs.

any lethargy, weight loss, vomiting?
