I have the old sunfire and love it, it has pop covers in all colors. ,Joey now makes the sunfire ultra and its even better than mine. It is still the brightest longest burning light on the market but now its lighter and I think you can get your choice of 2 colored lights along with it. This new ultra is light and bright, and Joey is top notch too.

By far the brightest light on the market. I had a few questions about the light. I gave them a call and Mike was a great guy and even sent me pop covers for my light for FREE. I offered to pay for them and he wouldn't let me. Dad and I have the first Sunfire and they have never let us down. I charge mine about every 5 or 6 hunts and have NEVER had it burn out. Plain and simple If you can't find it with a Sunfire it isn't there. It will tell you what kind of dog you have quick and in a hurry. We have had ours a little over a year with no issues. I even use mine around the house when needed. GREAT light and SUPER BRIGHT...... My only regret about the light is...I didn't buy one sooner.

You must have gotten a special one because I seen them both side by side and the Cajun didn't compare. It was stated by the Cajun people that the spot light they sell is brighter than the light and any one that has seen the 2 side by side knows that the Sunfire is brighter than the spot light. They both feel the same weight but all of the Cajuns weight is in the head making it very out of balance. The battery doesn't weigh much at all. The only thing I liked better about the Cajun was the switch is in the head. I don't own either but got to handle them both. Over all they are both nice lights but I like the Ultra quite a bit better.

X2 the sunfire is the brightest and most balanced hat out there. Get the amber on the color.

The ultra is smaller and lighter. Ive compared em. Throws a wider spot that Sunfiire to. The little colored light under the head didn't seem bright at all. Id soon have a pop cover.

Ultra

The Sunfire ultra colored bulb was designed not to be bright but rather a flood to pick up eyes... It works great for me and I have the red for color. Really magnifies the eyes. Check out the pic below.. This is in a big oak on the 2nd click

Sunfire Ultra

I have the Sunfire Ultra with the amber tinted lens on the bottom. I really like it a bunch. Coons look at it really good and have no trouble at all walking with it even on the low side of it. The white LED on it is ridiculously bright. Battery life is great too. I bought it at SETWD and have never charged it since. I have hunted with it 26 nights and counting. Granted, because of work I don't hunt all night but usually at least 3 hours each time I go out. After those 26 nights, it still makes my old 21 volt light look like candle. Very good light and I would highly recommend it.

The ultra is very bright and lightweight. More important it's very balanced which makes it really comfortable. I got the red one and really like how it lights up the the entire tree. There are a lot of good lights out now that should please anyone but I would have to say that the Ultra is one of the best.

I have had the sunfire for about 2 years now. I had had no issues with the light yet. It has never went dead on me and is very comfortable. I was wanting to get a back up light so I looked at several other brands of lights. Of course talking to most venders is like talking to a car sales man and try to tell you how it is a better light than the sunfire. I ended up ordering the new ultra because none looked like a better built light.
