Thank you for posting regarding this subject.

I have been in speaking with my hotel contact for the Holiday Inn, Days Inn and Quality Inn in Batesville. This individual is in charge of all three properties.

At this time there are plenty of rooms available for our dates. Quality Inn and Days Inn will allow pets; however Holiday Inn has a no pet policy.

The rates for these properties are as follows (note that the first rate is for a King and the Second for a double):

Quality Inn
Wed - Jan 22, 2014 - $75 / $80
Thurs, Fri and Sat - January 23, 24 & 25, 2014 - $110 / $115
Sun - January 26, 2014 - $75 / $80

Days Inn
Wed - Jan 22, 2014 - $67 / $72
Thurs, Fri and Sat - January 23, 24 & 25, 2014 - $85 / $90
Sun - January 26, 2014 - $67 / $72

Holiday Inn (no pets permitted)
Wed - Jan 22, 2014 - $115 / $125
Thurs, Fri and Sat - January 23, 24 & 25, 2014 - $150 / $160
Sun - January 26, 2014 - $115 / $125

There are other hotels in the area and we are working on contacting them as well to provide rates for the Winter Classic participants.

Heading off to the World Championship and will have UKC staff working on this project. Please watch our website for up to date information on additional hotels, motels and area campgrounds.

that is so interesting. I just searched these same hotels last week and all rates were under $100. some were in the $70s for the double. that proves they jack up the rates.

Econo Lodge, no pets $74
Comfort Inn Oxford, no pets $62
Days Inn, if you choose the "stay 3 & save option" $68/$72 (k/d)
