Never saw that

Hunting the other night, changing hollers, on a gravel road, with my hunting partner and a Hoot owl had caught something on the edge of the road as we passed by. The overwhelming smell of strong skunk hit us and I stopped and backed up and sure enough he had caught and was eating a split open young skunk.

I've spent countless hours in a lot of different woods...never seen that either! As a matter of fact, I'm not too sure a buzzard would even eat a road kill skunk.

Owls are strange birds though. Stealthiest hunter in the woods I would think. Surely he could find something better to munch on

Owls

When I was in High School about 15 years ago, I was driving home and hit a owl with my truck. Dang thing was out flying around in the middle of the day, well it hit right in the center of my windshield and bounced off. Last thing that went through that owls head was its B-Hole.
