It's just like anywhere else depends on the guide you draw.

Agreed to a point, but it ain't the south I can guarantee you that. The area in general and near the fairgrounds is great, pocket woods and lots of agriculture.

There are more coon than you can shake a stick at.... But it all depends on your guide. If you get someone that is guiding for a friend they can try to dry hole you at the start to thin the cast down and then hit their good spots. Or you can get one that wants to give the cast their best chance to win

It also will depend on the weather. Of its hot and dry it can be tough, if its a full moon their coon don't seem to stir as well as ours do.

More than likely you will enjoy the hunting and it will he unlike any hunting you have ever had in Nc.

Now Hobo, I tried to tell you they didn't run well on moon lite nights here but you didn't believe me. Then I showed you about 15 or more coons on a moon light night and I proved you were right.

Ya''ll are WRONG...there are no coons in Indiana, that's why we have feed buckets everywhere here!

They jist had the youth nationals up in that part of the country.
High score was 600 second was 575. Sounds like 3 coon will get it done.

I live about 45 miles west of AO about everything is ditches or patch woods. If you have a blow through the country type dog he could get you in trouble, just from the fact about everything is in mile sections so he could be crossing some roads. That time of the year it shouldn't be to hard to tree 3 to 4 coon if you get decent guide but it will take 6 to 7 to win.

The number one thing you boys from the south need to worry about up here are the fence's.

I've decided your coon are a lot like our coon.... They stir if and when they want. You just have one or two more than we do.
