We had a good club meeting and hunt Saturday Night. 4 dogs entered the hunt. There seems to have been some bad luck going on though, one dog caught a coon on the ground and brought it to the judge and handler, another caught a coon in a brush pile, and other had the coon stop looking before the judge saw it. The fourth dog got it all together despite the heat, dry conditions and leaves. Treed a nice coon along the river, and we were able to stand on the bridge to see it.

CONGRADULATIONS to Mike Hoover of Holden,Mo. He and his hound have passed three HTX Hunts in a row and earned their title.
