Favorite toys?

I don't know about yours, but my redbone is extremely melllow and laid back (complete opposite of our b&t). I've tried a lot of different toys with him to get him active and nothing catches his attention.

I'm sorry to hear this, but all my red dogs have been this way. Is there a problem with that?
Maybe you should try a coon

It's not much of a problem. His favorite playtime is being loved on and petted. Then he gets a little pushy. For me that's fine, but our two yr old daughter wants to play with him. He's bigger than her and knocks her over when he comes close to be petted. I was seeing if there's any toys we could get so she could throw them.

Try teaching him sit, and have him sit when your daughter is petting him. I have a 6 month old (70-80 lb) mastiff pup that we do that with cuz he's almost as tall as our 4 year old and heavier than our 8 year old.

Or lay down, teach him to lay down for her to pet him, then she can sit by him and pet him
