This is a picture taken from a boat of the road going into my hunting club. There is a yellow metal gate below the water that is about 3 foot tall. The top of the gate is about a foot under the water.

I feel your pain over 20 inches here, since June I finally get a new dog I like and cant hunt him to get him ready for the hunts.

Let's see, a 3' gate plus 1' more of water, that would make the water over your head by about 6"!

Honestly, I can relate to your not being able to access your best hunting. We get ours shut down in the summer for a few months every year.

I didn't realize Friday night the water was still up here and my old female got stuck crossing what used be a ankle deep creek that was over 4'. She got hung up on some branches under water. I ended up getting wet to get her unstuck.
