I get about 800 yards is the most I get. Ive got the long range antennas on my collars and didn't see much of a difference. Ive just put on the long range on my handheld but haven't had the chance to test it at that range yet.

I've got an extended range antenna on my 220, factory antennas on my dc 30s I'm getting around a mile give or take depends on conditions in the mountains of va. Now I've seen the same set up pick up several miles if I'm in a flat open spot and the dogs are on top of a ridge directly across from me.

we have used the roof antenna stock everything else and picked up yote dogs at 2 miles drive 5 miles around the mountain to get closer and never drop the dogs best money you can spend ! many times and many different mountains or you can drive around all night holding your hand out the window hoping to get close enough to pick them back up this how dogs gets lost ! 220 handheld stock antenna tracks cleared out .6 of mile more or less depending on weather, terrain have seen over a mile many times sometimes as little as 800 yards ! I live in the endless mountains of north east pa. my farm is at 1700 + feet above sea level ! hope this helps

I live in western Pa. So the terrain anime that bad but there is still some decent hills. I plan on using mine for coon hunting. It's coming in the mail next week so I can't wait to test it out!
