Goats ? who has them?

Is banding something that anyone can do? What age does it need to be done? How long should it take? Please fill me in on anything I have missed.

Thanks for any help

I've banded calves, goats, and dogs with very good success. Just make sure you use castrating bands, they are big and thick so they close off the blood supply but not cut in.

goats and calves just dry up and fall off, dogs look messy but heal up quick and are fine.

Can castrating bands be bought at any farm supply type store?
