For close to a year now, our good Redbone friend Mr. Herb "Banjo" Vaughn from Goshen, Indiana has been in the fight of his life with cancer.

A finer gentleman and good Christian man does not exist.

I urge all old friends to give him a call, drop him a line and say a prayer for this good man as he continues to fight through these tough times.

God Speed Herb, we are all pulling for you.

I have never met a better friend in my life. He has inspired me by the person he is and has always been. I spoke with him a little while ago. I can tell he isn't doing well. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers he is a fine man.

I have attended alot of Redbone events over the years, and have never, ever heard a derogatory word spoken by anyone about Herb Vaughn. His Christian walk through life has been an excellent example for us all to even attempt to follow. When Herb heard that I had invited Jesus into my life, he spent the entire day at NRA days, Lagrange Ind., reassuring, and inspiring me to stay true to the course.
Herb, also is as good a pup man, (breeder/trainer), as we have in the Redbone breed. He is definitly on my prayer list, for a complete, and speedy recovery. All who know Herb are better off, because of it.
