Ford edge 2008 ac ?

My wife's car was blowing cold air but not really cold. I bought a recharge kit of 134a refridge and a gauge I followed all directions and did not overcharge t but it seems less cold now any ideas? The compressor was cycling rapidly b4 charging now its seems to stay running for 30 seconds or longer that seems normal why is it not blowing colder?

it could be the dryer or a switch but its really hard to tell you will probly have to take it to a place that works on airconditers they put it on a machine to find out what is wrong

Well I don't know if this will help but also the fan seems to run for 20 to 30 seconds after the car shuts down now.

im not sure

not real sure on the newer car but most older 1s the fan ran all the time you had the air on 1 other thing you might check is make sure the clutch is stayig in gauged on the compresser theres alot of little things that could be causeing the trouble might be in the switch that turns it from heat to the air it could be something simple and it could be something alittle deeper if i talk to my buddy tonite i will ask him if he might have a idea he was a mechanic for ford dealership for 38 yrs but he retired before 08 but he still has did some work on the newer vechiles

Well turns out I'm a dummy and it was indeed overfilled. Luckily I was able to use the schrader valve on the low side and let it off. Dunno why the gauge read ok yesterday and today when I checked it was red lined
