Weird eating habits / changes!

I have 3 dogs at the present time. A Bluetick, beagle, & a Lab. The Lab is 3yrs the Bluetick 2yrs and the beagle 9 months. All 3 have been on dog chow their whole lives. Last month while at work my wife called and told me the Bluetick was eating and had been throwing up. After I got home I noticed that all 3 dogs were not eating hardly at all & the Lab had started throwing up. I live in Mississippi and thought maybe the warmer weather might have been the cause. Today my wife calls and tells me she bought kibble & bits dog food and they ate every bit of it. Has anybody ever had this happen before or know the cause? Seems strange all 3 dogs of different ages and breeds stopped eating dog chow at the same time.

Actually yeah my bluetick female is like that. The vet told me it was cuase she was used to eating one thing when I changed her food she stoppped eating what I got her. Soon after she stopped eatin her regualr food and I had to find something else shed eat and now she's still kinda picky but she will eat it if she gets hungry. Also feeding a dog table food will cuase thwm to note wanna eat dog food as well from what I've noticed in some of my dogs in the past. If they get hungry they will eat their food its a lot to do with stubburness and monkey see monkey do.

I thought it strange myself and wonder with 2 of them
Getting sick if there might have been something wrong with the food itself.

Just plain eating less than normal a day or so I wouldn't get overly concerned about, especially if the weather suddenly became a lot warmer than it has been. The vomiting would concern me though, especially if it was more than one dog doing it. Do they seem to be feeling ok now?

Really didn't notice any difference in behavior besides the throwing up. However since changing brands of food they now eat when I feed them. Before the feed would stay in the pan all day and they wouldn't eat it all. Wondering if I should email purina.

Sounds like

you may have gotten a bad bag of food. Too much coincidence with all three refusing their food and two of the three vomiting. I hope you threw that bag out. JMO

I did and then bought another bag of purina dog chow, something happened. Idk cause they've all ate dog chow since pups with no problem. Swapped to kibble & bits just to see and haven't had any problems. They eat it like they were starving.

I change dog feed every once in a while. I wouldn't want to eat soup beans every day and I like them. I figure a dog would like a change once in awhile also.JMO
