Another Hunt Question

Dogs a,b,c,d all stike and tree in that order. can't tell they are split until you get to tree. Dogs c and d are split realy close. If there is a coon in both trees, how would you score these dogs? What if a and b are slick and c and d have the coon? Please answer both for me so I can clear up a discussion. thanks

1st way

A and B would be plus. a=225 b=150
C=175 d=100

2nd way

1st tree slick, minus dogs. 2nd tree plus if u see coon

You can not tell if 4 dogs treeing in 50 yrds if they together or not. I always say tree my dog. He may be with them or a piece behind em. They in a straight line though.

This is how I have seen Judges and more score it and how I was tought. Others may think I wrong. But this is how I am understanding your question.

The first thing you need to decide is it to be scored as one or two trees. If they are touching, limbs intertwined, or connected by vines then it is considered one tree and is scorede as such.

dog a +225
dog b +150
dog c +100
dog d +50

If scored as two trees then dogs c & d move up to 125 and 75 respectively.

dog a +225
dog b +150
dog c +175
dog d +100
