I doubt it is especially good or bad. I and a lot of others flood the dog food in the winter during the freeze to make sure they get enough hydration. The rest of the year it is prolly not a big deal either way although my vet once told me dry was better for their teeth.

I add some warm water to their food in the winter time for added hydration and if it is a day that I hunt their food gets soaked. My belief, which may be very incorrect, is that the food is already expanded so may help prevent a twisted gut or at least be easier to digest. Other then that they get fed twice a day with dry kibble.

I am like everyone else. Mine get wet food in the winter, i don't flood the bowl but put enough water in there to cover the bottom of the bowl.
