Old studs/frozen semen?

Why do we never hear of any big winners off any semen. Maybe not even big winners but pup hunts even? These pups usually are not cheap and it seems to me out of reach of your ordinary run of the mill pleasure hunter. So what's the deal? Just not enough of them out there? Using mostly for breeding? Have a screw loose between the ears somewhere? Old frozen semen ain't potent? LoL. Gotta be a reason.

The best gyp I've ever owned or seen is off frozen semen ... but I've seen and had a few frozen semen litters and they are just more pups .

None of the studs from the past made their names on one random litter ... so why should they do so now ? You just can't plan it on paper and have it play out like that then , now or in the future .

What cracks me up is when they were alive pups were prob 200 or 300 bucks. Now they are 1000-2000 off the tit. They always get better when their dead.
