?how to keep hound quiet in pen

Ive got my first blue hound and im scared ill have to get rid of her cause my dad hates hounds and she howls every other night and wakes him up even though I pay for feed and all he says she'll have to go if I cant hush her up please help !

get a no bark collar from garmin or tri tronics for around 70 bucks

I use a shock collar to teach them voice commands like shut up and no. they learn quick if they have brains. If we are gone I put a muzzle on any that are in the breaking process... the type that is open on the end, nylon with adjustments so they can still drink.

The no bark collar will work just fine. Just remember to take it off in the mornings and put it back on at night.
