The hotshot is 200$ without scope but its as light as any deadly accurate extra short and you can load it with gloves on!

I agree with Potomac. I bought a TC Hot Shot and can tell you it is BY FAR, the best 22 on the market for coonhunting. Safe to operate, easy to load, light as a feather, allready tapped for a scope, and deadly accurate!! $200.00 and you will love it.

ruger 10/22! Most reliable gun made. I use mine with open sights. Ive worn the finish off the stock and have shot thousands of rounds out of it. Ruger has a lifetime warranty on their guns. I sent it back to them because it started misfiring and they put a new barrel on it. Lifetime warranty is nice!

I have a Smith and Wesson 22A pistol with a Bushnell laser dot scope. Love it. I have fell, dropped it, and performed gun surgery in the middle of th ewoods. Never misses a beat. Can put about 5 shorts in a magazine but have to manually work the slide.
Great gun. Working on getting silenced permit then will be in business.
