Wont eat

I have a bluetick pup, and she has been eatin real good, well i fed her on april 2nd and when i went to feed her yesterday, ther ewas still food in her bowl, so i dumped it out into my house dogs food bowl thinkin maybe ther ewas something wrong with it, so i poured her new food yesterday and when i went outside this morning same thing there was still food in her bowl, and i was outside must of the day and she ran around in the yard, and she did eat just a little, but im kinda scared and nervous to what could be wrong with her, and help or info or anything you got would help. Thanks Michael

food

She may be getting ready to come in heat. I've seen em do that too. Have you been given her any table scraps? Sometimes they get spoiled on em and expect them.

pup

i worm my dogs every 3 months and when i get one that doesn't want to eat i mix table scraps with dog food and warm water and let it soak some of the water up and like the man said if she is 15 months old it is time for her 2nd heat cycle and if she gets to eating good again cut back on scraps and add more dog food

HAve you been hunting her or she just kenneled up and not out hunting? If she isn't hunting and since the weather is starting to warm up she might not be using as much energy to keep warm, which will decrease appetite if not beig hunted.

according to the vet I use females come in heat around 5to6 months old and again at about the year mark and then well u get it so this is or should be her 3 heat cycle and yea they will eat less when not hunted and the warm weather my have a lot to do with this I would cut back on the food feed about 3/4 what u use to feed and she how that works

I would cut feed back a little since she isn't hunting and burning the calories up. See how that works if you still concerned after a few days get her to vet. If she isnt losing weight I wouldnt be too concerned as long as she does eat.

All my dogs slow down on eating when it gets worm. This could be the case with your dog.
