Coon Feeder for pup training

Anyone have good ideas on making a coon feeder? I want to make one so I have a solid place to turn my pup over a hot track this spring/summer. I am looking for ideas that retard other animals such as grinners and other unwanted varmits from taking the bait.

We made some out of a 5 gallon bucket with a locking lid.We put a 1" 45 degree elbow on the bottom. We usually just put one elbow on it but 2 works also.Keep corn in it or they'll tear the bucket up.

Donīt make holes too big. Been too cold to ferment whole corn. Grinners, deer and turkeys will work on unfermented corn. Got pictures on trail camera of all of them but the holes are roughly 2" x 4".

it will ferment now just takes a little longer if you set in in the sun through the day and in a barn at night it won't freeze it will take about two weeks then put it in your tires

Go to the dollar store and pick up grape jelly jars. Poke a few small holes in the lids and duct tape them upside down to a tree. The jelly will slowly leak out and it should last 3 weeks to a month. Coons love it.
