Friends of Frank & Sam Dooley

Sam was injured in the Plaza Towers school while protecting her daughter and her
students, and while they thought their home was spared, only to have another
storm hit them 2 weeks later. They have now been left with nothing.
During the first tornado, Sam lost her purse with all her financial information in it during
the destruction of the school and her classroom. She was unable to return to the room
to try to look for it due to safety concerns, thus causing the bank to freeze all of their assests and credit cards. Then looters
stole all of Frank's tools out of the totaled van. The 2nd tornado destroyed their other vehicle
and made their home unliveable. They are relying on others for transportation. They not leaving their property because of the animals and
what is left of their belongings.
At present they are living in their camper. It has some damage and leaks. They have tried patching it, and putting some plastic over it and hope
it holds up, but if it continues to leak too bad with the continuing storms that just will not let up, they may have to leave. Their youngest girl, Kali, is having a very difficult time dealing with all of this,
the loss of her school, her home and some of her animals. She is terrified whenever she hears thunder now. Kali turned 6 on May 30. They promised her a birthday party, and when all of this is
over she will get one.
The coonhound community is one that helps its own and now one of our own is
in desparate need. We are reaching out and asking anyone and everyone if
they can spare a few dollars to help them in their time of need.
Frank and Sam did not ask for help. I thought of this and spoke to Becky
and said "We need to do something for them." She spoke to Sam and now
the ball is rolling. We are not in this for our glory. No one should have to go
through what they have or what any of those people have gone through,
but we have a chance to help some. We will be getting an address soon and
some more details on where you can send checks and/or gift cards and we will
be posting that info as well.

If you want to send gift cards, Walmart sells the Visa & Mastercard Debit cards that you can preload. They also carry American Express Cards that can be preloaded, and AE will replace the card if lost or stolen.
Some of the stores in her area, per Sam, include Walmart, Target, Crest Grocery, Sam's (they are a member). Restaurants include: Sonic , Golden Corral, Burger King, McDonald , Olive Garden, Rib Crib, Mazzios Pizza, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Wendys.
