Top Gun/ Totally Awesome

I have a Grand Night female that is hard time and cabin creek Rowdy bred, and was going to breed her the next time she comes in. I was wondering if any of yall had pups out our Gun or Totally awesome and how do you like them? Trying to decide which dog I wanna breed too.... Thanks!!

No dog is producing better then Main Street Jack owned by Asa Briggs. He is throwing winners in the nite hunts in BOTH kennel clubs as well as dogs that are a pleasure to hunt through the week.

My Ike dog is off Jack and I truly believe he will produce great things.

Ike is a performance sire if your interested.

Good problem to have!

English breed has many top notch stud dogs to pick from and I dont think you can go wrong with any of them. I favor Top Gun as im blessed to hunt with Larry and Ive seen most of his kennel go. Most of Gun's pups are just now getting in the hunts and in the woods. I could not be happier with the pup I have out of Gun. He comes from a long line of HUNT WINNERS and REPRODUCERS.

The other KC world champion has proven himself in every state that holds coonhunts time and time again... His daddy is a reproducer, his mama is a reproducer, his grandsire is a reproducer, his grand dam is a reproducer... I think you get the point! I AM NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM TOP GUN but I would feel 100% confident that Totally Awesome has won more casts in a months time against some of the top dogs in the world than Top Gun won in his whole career. We breed for better Coondogs which in turn equals better hunt winners. If it was my female it would be a no brainer.. But it's not so good luck with your decision!

I have hunted with Top Gun. I don't owe their owners a dime. He is a solid, honest coon treeing dog. Very Good Mouth. Very Good Looks. He is the old style dog our dad's used to hunt. He lacked a little in the fire department, but he made up for it by working those close, cold tracks and producing a coon.

The titles don't produce good coon dogs, the traits that the dog has that are reproducable are what counts. Do some research and find out what traits the dogs in the stud dog's family have and use them to decide which dog to breed to.
