Anybody know anything about this line of blue plott hounds?

This was a breed of hound found in the east Tennessee and west North Carolina region maybe 200 years ago and rumered to have been crossed into the Plotts at sometime.Im sure they are all gone by now.

I had one as a boy that was blueish grey. Not sure of his breeding though other than he was froma bear hunter and purebred.

This was the first I heard about them also. I googled them and this old post came up. I have several Maltese plotts not blue delch.
I was looking for some color photos but haven't found any.
I was just wondering why there are so many Maltese showing up now, more than 20 or more years ago. I'm guessing because there is more line breeding going on???????
I would be interested in some of the info you might have on any of the old big time breeders, good or bad. PM it if you don't want to put it on here.

I believe the blue colors go back mainly to the lep. blood added
several yrs. ago.
