Carl, my Snap pup is bawl on the ground, very open mouth track dog and hunts harder than ANY pup I have ever turned loose except for the Rube pup I had years ago. And this pup hunts right too. But her momma is bawl on the ground too so maybe that's where she got it.

Tap has a beautiful mouth on him with a gut wrenching locate . Tap and mason are the only mojo pups I've liked so far ...

As far as chop mouth on track , I could care less as long as they have all the other tools. Besides , I've alway personally thought a chop mouth track dog is usually quicker on track . Jmo

I stood by the truck and listened to Mason and Kate go head to head for two hours one night and Mason was a pure pleasure to listen to. But Tapp......I drew him 3 years ago and haven't seen anything since that compares. Talk about total package, WOW!
'Course, what can you tell from one night?

JMO but you could not give me a chop mouth track dog if i knew it would win the next five pkc world championships.

Chop mouth dogs cold sign run just like it is red hot never a quite time for 10 or 15 minutes any time you turn loose.

I like for my dog to hunt quite until she smells a coon babblers and chop mouth ever breath barking on ever track that is struck and sometimes not struck drives me nuts thats why chop mouth dogs not for me other people love them that is fine to for to each his own.

Carl if anybody ever offers you one that you know for sure will win the next 5 world championships go ahead and take it and call this number731 616 6567 and I will be there to pick it up as soon as I can. Lol

I thought the original question was mason or snap?

mason or snap? Both are nice dogs. I don't think they come much better than the mason dog.

Last 2 females I owned were chop mouth track dogs. I never minded the first one and sure don't mind the one we're hunting now. Cause they both tree real live coon.
