.

That would be a problem with your gps antenna. Could be as simple as coming unplugged which would be the first thing I checked to a wplugged connection plug damaged. Your course of repair would be what collar you had it on.
You can call me tomorrow and I can give you a price breakdown and see if part replacement or return to garmin is the best way to go.

had one that would not hook up the other night. took it apart, cleaned up, unplugged battery, & put back together. took about 10 min. & it hooked up. been working fine since then. we was down your way 2 weeks ago, in the I'on swamp & all the collars came up slow. seen a black bear in those woods on sat. night.

THE LAST TIME I USED IT, IT DROPPED THE DOG AND WOULD PICK IT BACK UP EVERY NOW AND THEN. I KNEW THIS BECAUSE IT WOULD SHOW THE QUESTION MARK AND EVERY SO OFTEN, IT WOULD MOVE TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION WHICH WAS CLOSE TO THE OTHER DOG I WAS HUNTIN'. NEXT TIME OUT , IT NEVER CONNECTED WITH SATELLITE AND HASN'T SINCE.
IT WAS GIVING A LONG ,SINGLE BLINK, FOLLOWED BY A LONG, SINGLE BLINK AND A SHORT ONE, AND EVERY NOW AND THEN A LONG, SINGLE BLINK AND A DOUBLE BLINK.

MR. BRUCE, I'LL GIVE YOU A CALL IF CLEANIN' THE PLUG DOESN'T HELP. IT'S GIVING A SINGLE BLINK AFTER CLEANING THE PLUG.

THANKS EVRYONE.

Bruce would know more but if you have the other collar just switch the gps annttena from the good collar to the bad one. If it then picks up you know the gps antenna is bad.
