Hunt question

A guy said his dog was in a hole and we get there and his dog is treed on a log. This is nitech cast by the way, when we get to the log he said he doesn't have to look in but I look anyways and he had a possum.. No other cast members would look in.. Is he scratched? What should I have done if no cast members wanted to look in?

Well the original judge got sick and withdrew and he handed the card over and the other two guys were friends.. I told them regardless of situation that the dog was scratched but the handler got his dog immediately off the log and walked off and the judge said he didn't have to look in if he didn't want to.. I know he shoulve been scratched but what should I do about handlers not looking in.. It was only one dog.

You cant controll what other people do, but by knowing the rules you can effect the outcome.

When the guy with the card chose not to see the possum you should have placed a ? on the card and since the ? involved a scratchig situation you would then return with the cast to the clubhouse to have the ? heard immediatly.

I questioned the call but they said you would have to question at log but other handler walked off and I went to him and said I'm questioning the call and he said you can question the call at log.. He was right I really don't know what to do in situation where they leave immediately.. John what would you do? That hunt was just one of those hunts that nothing went my way.. Had 5 first trees, 2 coon, 3 dens and my dog treed another coon right after hunt was up

Place a question by dogs strike points. Cast must score treed dogs and or collect dogs and return to clubhouse. In your case it didn't sound like anyone wanted to go back, so you should collect your dog and go back.
