Chicago's handgun ordinance bans gun shops in the city and prohibits gun owners from stepping outside their homes with a handgun.

If our gov. Would look at history they would know that prohibition never works. Look a alcohol, drugs, and now they want all our guns. More people drank when they were told they couldn't. We spend billions of dollars a year to fight drug abuse only to have more people then any other country using. Gun control will only end up they same way if we take guns away from all the sane law abiding people of our nation. Some people can't handle the responsibility of gun ownership just like some people can't handle drinking a beer.
