I was just wondering mine ran one 1.54 mile last nite in the side of a mountain .... that was a long steep walk

3 mile total tracking on the Garmin. It was after 3am the other nite. The coon only covered a 2 or 3 square mile section.

total track on the garmin was 3 miles last night by the lake but straight line from track to tree was a little over a mile

this time of yr them ole boars will go out of thier home range looking for love lol its not out of the question for 1 to run 2 or 3 miles or farther i had a old man tell me that a coon will rome up to 5 miles a night never track 1 to see if its true but i have had some long races this time of yr

Knock on wood...but I haven't had one run over 400 yards befor getting put up a tree with this young Rock dog and two were lay ups....knock on wood....got a pup I'm gonna start worken with when he gets about a year to year and ahalf until then I'm just gonna let him run deer,rabbits etc.. when he is running loose his momma and daddy can put them up a tree quick hopefully he will be the same.
