Just bred my Bodacious X Salin sadie female to patch via artificial insemenation on tuesday sept 17th. I know its an out cross but its like me a russ talked about if proven pedigrees mean anything on an outcross we could be in for quite the surprise! I dont think I could have delt with anybody any better than mr. Russ Downing he has been first class through this process. My female (juicy) is a littermate to jody goodsons "bocephus" dog that won our breed in the 2011 world hunt. There are others out of that litter I've heard that were super nice as well. A little about juicy: most importantly she is deadly accurate. The type of accurate that you can really put a dent in a coon population if you chose to shoot a bunch of coons (I dont). She has an outstanding mouth, nice track dog, and a very athletic build. She has a GRCH title. I've only put her in 2 night hunts, 1 of which there wasnt a coon treed that night and the other was handler error. I've been more of a pleasure hunter vs. Comp hunter but I'd love to get more involved in the hunts and plan too. Again,yes I know this is an outcross and taking a chance but bar none it truly is a coondog to coondog cross that I ccouldn't be more excited about. Fingers crossed that she catchs and I get to raise some nice pups ;-) lol. Thanks again to russ downing and all of the other breeders in "patch" and "juicys" pedigrees' for giving me this opportunity hope to make yall proud .I'd like to think I'm doing my part in BREEDING BETTER BLUES!! :-D
