PR dogs at RQEs

I know nite champions get a first place win for a top 10 qualifying score at RQEs.....

I know PR dogs is backwards and they dont get a first place like that....anyone know the point breakdown they do get???

I dont agree with that....if a nitech gets a first for a top 10 the lowly ole PR dog should too IMO...

Registered dogs get a 1st place if they place in the top 4. I think 5th through 10th they get a 2nd?

So top 3 get a first....know the point break down for 4-10?? Surely they still earn some points....

i agree with you if a nitech can pick up a first for a 10th place win then so should the PR dog since he has to hunt by NTch rules.

OK, help me out. If you have a PR dog with two first place finishes already, what do they need at an rqe to earn the night champion?

Thanx Allen!

Will see how things go...got a 3rd and a few hunts before RQE or 2 (usually 2 but 1 isnt listed this year...)

He can compete...but a top 3 out of 12-15 casts is tough..comes down to the guiding and how the cast plays out more than dog power for the most part...

Just wanted to know so i can make the decision when its time...

Happens all the time at the zones. Many cast wins at that hunt are won by PR dogs hunting against 3 Grands. 'Course plenty of PR dogs get beat by Grands also. I don't think the dogs know one from the other.
