Jay is right that sounds like tape worms, drontal plus is the way to go, knock em allout besides heart worms. It is expense but worth it. If you get a wormer with Praziquantel as the active ingredient it should take care of the tapes.

Al when i used it we got it from 1800petmeds.com.

The usual dose of medium tablets (68mg) for dogs 26-30 lbs is 1 tablet, 31-44 lbs is 1 1/2 tablets, 45-60 lbs is 2 tablets. The usual dose of large tablets (136mg) for dogs 45-60 lbs is 1 tablet, 61-90 lbs is 1 1/2 tablets and 91-120 lbs is 2 tablets. Tablets may be mixed with food.

i asked the same question a while back and i was told to use panacure (horse wormer) by a bunch of people i tried it and it seems to work pretty good cleared up three dogs with it

OK one other Thing !!!! Why NOT to USE Equimax Horse Wormer !!!!!!!!!!!

It does have 5 Min. dosages for a 60# Dog of praziquantel 180 mg per dose ( One tube has 894 mg of praziquantel ) !!!!!!!!!!!! Thats true it does give much more ivermectin than is required for just heart worm prevention but it does not hurt them (heartworm treatment only is a much smaller dose than that required for intestinal worms). Take a dog to a vet that treats mange with ivermectin and they will be giving them 1% 1.6 -2 ml PER DAY for a month or more. This is also why I just use the equimax every 3-4 months. And an adult dog doesnt usually need to be wormed any more often than that.

my grandad used to use a few drops of kerosene on some burger to worm dogs and man did it work, would not do it myself now days though!

This is the Real Deal on praziquantel !!! Got my order last thursday then swug by our local Chinese Caryout for them to Verify the Lable !! Then I did a Taste Test on it and compaired it to some expainsive Praziguantel and They were the same !!!

This is a Huge cost savings in Tape Wormer !!!
