 Mini slam?

What's pros and cons of mini slams? You don't see many of them was wondering everyone's opinions on them?

Cheap way to get a 1st place win or a win toward grand if you ask me plus no performance points.

On the positive side its an easy way to get a 1st place. Most times all you need to do is win your cast with plus and you'll have it.

The performance thing I can see bothering some,and I agree about the 1st place but at same time 1st place on a open dog may have been earned against 3 grand nights?

About the same I'd say. 4 to 5 casts seem to be the average across the country. Weather this time of year has alot to do with attendance also.
