Tri-tronics e-collar

Does anyone have a problem in colder weather turning your collars on or off, seems rubber over switch may get stiff in colder temps. Thanks.

The battery is fully charged , when I get the collar to turn on it works great, it is just very hard to turn on, I have to push a pencil rubber into the switch to get it to come on, I never had to do that before, but it's a lot colder here now? I also have to do the same thing to turn it off now.

I bought mine in 06 had no problems with it. But it seems like the rubber is alittle stiffer but as long it shuts off why fix it.
