Has anyone used the remington 45-70 405gr load on game?
I have been using 405 gr cast ammo but the bullet goes through a whitetail like a full metal jacket. I am looking for something that will expand inside a whitetail. I do not want to go to anouther bullet weight because my sharps is sighted with the 405 gr at 1300fps. My sharps must be sighted in with a file and I do not want to buy different sights for it.
