Led light makers ?

I have tried a few and I am using 1 now that I like alot. Some have a tight spot for searching tall trees and some have a wide spot for better walking.
My ? Is any one working on a led head that you can adjust form a flood to a spot ,for the best of both walking and shinning
it would be nice to have this plus the 5 position click switch and colored LEDs.on a cap
Any 1 else see anything they would improve on..?

I just purchased the princeton tec Apex,

It should be in the mail shortly. Cant wait to see what it can do, but it supposed to be able to do a flood, for walking and spot or throw when on high. We will see.

My brother has a China LED about half the size of a cigar. It has a ring you slide forward and back and makes a good tight spot and a wide walking flood. All it does is slide back and forth. Bright little sucker too!

My apex is plenty bright for navigation through the woods, unfortunately it does have enough throw to spot a tree. Still very bright, and combined with a rechargeable spot light. This would be a pretty nice economical setup imo.
