HTX Hunts

Recently our club held its first htx hunt and by all accounts it was a success . As I began to read more into the rules I have notice where a dog who is silent to tight on the ground is not worthy to hold that title unless he is a cur or a fiest . Just think as soon as we put the emphasis back on treeing coon we had to do something to disqualify a lot of (((coondogs))). After all is said an done all we really want is a dog that has the meat and now that's not even a coondog . I would take 10 silent dogs that do it right over a 50/50 open dog any day . I always thought we where COONHUNTING!
