Success Re-using chaps?

Since I have like new set of chaps and the boot has wore out. Has anyone had success with reusing the chaps on another pair of boots, if so, how did you attach them?

I am considering doing it with a set of Wick chaps. My plan is to take them to a saddle shop/shoe repair place here in town to have them sewn on, then to seal them above and below the sewn area to create a double seal. I was planning to use something like gorilla glue like Jim suggested....

Save as much of the chap as you can and they usually work good for kids to wear .

Silicon or shoe goo works good i use it as a quicky for leaky boots.

A buddy of mine used that flex seal stuff in a spray can like you see on the info-mercials on TV to repair a leaking set. You can even get that stuff in clear. Worked awesome. Might be worth a try to spray that over the stiched on areas.
