I HAVE SOME ENGLISH PUPS 5.5 WEEKS OLD AND THEY HAVE FLEAS REALLY BAD TRYED TO FIND SOMETHING TO GIVE THEM A BATH IN AND THEY ARE TOO YOUNG. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN PUT ON THEM TO HELP OUT. EVERYTHING I HAVE FOUND THEY HAVE TO BE 9 WEEKS.

Use Dawn soap. Also, call the vet and explain it to them. There is a pill (don't know the name) that they can give the momma that will take care of her and the pups.

Use the orange colored(Anti- Bacterial) Dawn dish soap if you can. Kills fleas on contact. Just put the soap in a tub of water set the pup down in it and wash them well, tip of nose to tip of tail. rinse them off. Very safe for the pup and kills the fleas.

We have been using adams flea and tick spray on our hound puppies beagle puppies mama dogs and even the big dogsm works GREAT!

THANKS, FIRST LITTER OF PUPS GYP THAT I BRED LAST YAER DIED WITH THE PUPS AND THIS YEAR I GOT A GOOD LOOKING SET OF ENGLISH PUPS JUST WATED TO GET RID OF THE FLEAS.

bayer tree and shrub, 2 cc per 5 lb, between the shoulders and rub it in. i start using it at 3 days old with just a few drops, cheap, super efective, buy it at lowes for 12.95 a bottle and it will last forever it seems. use on my entire kennel.
1. use once and then repeat at 2 weeeks and after that go to once a month.

I've had real good luck with Avon's Skin So Soft on young pups. Works well as a mosquito repellent also.

I have normally use dawn and where ever I am keeping the pups i use cedar shavings and the entire area is treated with permethrin.

mix skin so soft9 so the fleas wont have nothing dry to lay their eggs on) and lemon juice( the acid in this will kill the fleas that is on them at the time. have done this all my life and has never felled

I always use baby soap for puppies. basically any kind of soap will drown the fleas. so if you get the puppies real soapy and leave it on them for like 5 minutes then rinse the fleas will die. I like using the baby soap because it is tear free and will not hurt their eyes. Now you are going to want to bath them like every other day for a week or two to get rid of them. You will be killing the adults but the eggs hatch very fast so that's why you want to bath the repetitively to get all the hatching babies.
they also make flea combs that helps as well.

after you wash them and kill the fleas put red cedar chips in the box sprinkle 7 dust or viper in thier pen area thats all i do and never have any fleas on my dogs
