If the trap is messing legs up you need to do some reseach...you are using the wrong tool for the job

legs?

leg damage should have nothing to do with fur price.cut the front leg fur off if its damaged.

same as the belly being damaged by dogs.the belly fur is not used for anything.just a excuse to get the fur cheaper,if they get you to believe its "damaged!!

Coon will get into a fox set. If your traps are offset they will not hurt the legs of a coon. So far I had 1 coon in a fox set without a offset jaw and his leg was ok. No break in the bones. I can put my fingers in a fox trap and my fingers will not break. Now a modded yote trap would do some damage to a coon. But a coon will stay away from yote urine.
If your going after coon try a dp coon trap

Micheal, Yote urine will keep the coons away. It will also keep everything away except other yotes. So if your going after them you should be good.
